Situated between Annecy and Geneve, le Domaine des Avenières settled in a XXth century castle. It was built by a fortunate American Lady and fitted out by Assan Farid Dina, highly skilled astronomer full of creativity, which dedicated itself completely to the development of the castle. The works are colossal: heavy Bourgogne stones, surroundings shaped in giant butterflies wings and supervised by Sphinx, mythological faces, caves and subterranean basins looking as mercurien symbol. The big work of Dina is still the Chapel all in mosaic punctuated with gold, where signs of the zodiac, divinities, tarots Egyptians, kabbale, philosophy and religion become entangled. The establishment offers rooms and suites in various styles. For the Classic room : hangings and velvet pillows in warm colours as bordeaux, ochre, rust and peacock blue. Every luxury room have an old fireplace, massive wooden sculptured bed, Louis XV chair, and decorations in red, sky blue, seagreen or brown tones. Rooms excellence mix modernity and authenticity with their nice sitting rooms convenient to relaxation. Finally, two rooms shall awake your desire for escape: one with Africa theme in the decoration subtly wild and the other room Return of India in red and orange colors.
