Golf de La Grande Bastide

Situated near Grasse, the city of perfumes, the Golf de la Grande Bastide is one of the famous courses of French Riviera. Perfectly integrated into its environment, it offers magnificent panoramas on Grasse, Opio and Châteauneuf de Grasse. Drawn by the architect Cabell R. Robinson, the former collaborator of Robert Trent Jones Senior, the Grande Bastide golf course occupies a site slowly hilly and has resolutely contemporary architecture.
The course proposes to the golfers wide fairways and greens defended by numerous bunkers and water hasards. The great difficulty of the course is in its greens, rather difficult to read. The length of the surfaces of departure allows to offer a challenge to the good players and a pleasant course for the beginners. The first 7 holes are quiet and will comfort you before attacking the n°8 and its arrival of "drive" in the middle of the water, then again the calm before the storm of n°15 and n°16 … It is a course altogether little tiring, well maintained and very sunny.
