Inaugurated in 1887, the Dinard Golf Club is the second oldest French course. This pure links created by English still lives in the British tradition of understated elegance and friendly sportiness. Playing in Dinard, it is like stepping back in time. In trampling upon the narrow fairways flanked by corncrake and gorse, in campaigning in the tiny greens swept away by the winds, you might see the elegant ghosts in tweed suits of the founders.
On the Emerald Coast, time didn’t change anything in the golf course designed by the Scots Tom Dunn. Short and easy in appearance, this jewel do better than defend itself when the wind is blowing, almost continuously. Here, no matter what your score is: playing is a unique experience.
