Strasbourg, Château de Pourtalès***

Count Pourtales hosted in his castle, built in 1750, the European aristocracy, diplomats and philosophers. Destroyed during the war, it was rebuilt in 1972 by the founder of the Schiller University to house students there. It is now a hotel with rooms in the castle and in the appendix "Le Chalet". Regularly you can see there European Deputies mixed with international students ...
