fr  Le Groupe Barrière l'avait promis, il change de catégorie pour son fameux hôtel Westminster au Touquet Paris-Plage sur la Côte d'Opale.
C'est en 1924 que fut construit ce palace avec l'architecte Auguste Bluysen. Il devint vite le symbole de du "Touquet Chic" des années folles. En 1926 il passa de 110 chambres à 250 chambres, sa clientèle venait de toute l'Europe, notamment le Prince de Galles, Louis de Monaco, Marlène Dietrich, des grands musiciens et sportifs etc...
Détruit partiellement pendant la guerre, il fut reconstruit en gardant sa caractéristique architecturale de pierres et de briques avec les bow-winbows lui conférant un style anglais plaisant.
Dans les années 1980 il fut coupé en deux, une partie étant transformée en appartements. Le Groupe Barrière en a fait l'acquisition en 2018 et a décidé de le rénover complètement. Fin 2020 l'architecte Bruno Borrione lui a donné une nouvelle atmosphère cosy à la fois dans les salons et bars et dans les 104 chambres et suites. Ils ont conservé les deux restaurants dont la table étoilée Le Pavillon avec William Elliott.
A cela s'ajoute un Spa Nuxe pour faire du Westminster un joyaux cinq étoiles.

This palace was built in 1924 with the architect Auguste Bluysen. It quickly became the symbol of the "Touquet Chic" of the Roaring Twenties. In the 1980s it was cut in two, part of it being transformed into apartments. The Barrière Group acquired it in 2018 and decided to completely renovate it. At the end of 2020, the architect Bruno Borrione gave it a new cozy atmosphere both in the lounges and bars and in the 104 rooms and suites. They kept the two restaurants, including the starred restaurant Le Pavillon with William Elliott.
Added to this is a Nuxe Spa to make Westminster a five-star gem.
