Golf de Chantaco

Near Saint-Jean de Luz on the Côte Basque, the Golf de Chantaco unwinds its fairways in the feet of Rhune, mythical summit of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. 5833 meters long, it 18 holes is rather technical and decomposes into two parts: 9 hilly and wooded holes, where it is necessary to know how to play length and right, and 9 holes more clear with numerous water obstacles. Thus attention not to let decentralize by the grand view on the massif of Rhune.
The wedding of Simone Thion de la Chaume, Ladies golf champion, with the tennis champion René Lacoste gave to the time a very media lighting to this golf course which was frequented by numerous celebrities, such as Arnaud Massy, Raymond and Jean Garraïalde or still Catherine Lacoste.
